So many great ideas for Halloween out there.  Thought I would share a few.  Hopefully it will get me in the mood for fall decorating as it is just getting under 100 degrees here!

Pottery Barn has outdone themselves this year.  Wouldn't you love your front porch to look like this!
Love the crows and so simple to perch on a branch.  You can download the images for the signs and headstones here.  Also if you are looking to decorate on the cheap you can find smaller black crows at the dollar (Dollar Tree) store.  I found some there last year and they were suppose to have them again.  I have checked a couple of times and I didn't have any luck....hopefully you can find them at the store near you!

Great display for a buffet...Love the black board in the background.  Check out the recipes they used here.  Below is a close up of the hats...one is perched on the blackboard in the photo above.  So cute and great inspiration if you decide to make your own.

Fabulous display of frames all slightly askew.  You can't tell in this picture, but all the photos are headless!  You can download the images at PB here.

Love the PB candles, but if you want to make your own use 7gypsies collage tissue and a heat gun.  Heidi Swapp has been showing us how to do this at Christmas for years, but how about some candles for Halloween!   Check out her tutorial here.

More fun ideas over at Janet Hopkins blog.
This darling digital image is only $1.99 and she shows several ways to use it.

Also a fun digital banner kit....love the button eyes!

And yet another kit....Bottles with labels get me everytime!

One more digital kit, this one a freebie from Rhonna Farrer.  Get it here and check out all her other fun stuff.

Graphics Fairy had a freebie last year....very fun!  Download it here.

One last bit of inspiration....this lady is serious about Halloween and really does it up right.  A word of warning, you will spend a serious amount of time checking out her blog...http://www.brooklynlimestone.com
This is her home and how she decorated in 2009....it varies every year!!
The skeletons came from Oriental Trading....she tells more here.

She shows several Halloween invitations that she has created, this her 2009 version....ALL FABULOUS, but this one is my favorite.  A vampire protection/invitation.  Wouldn't you love to get this in the mail!
She gives a few tips here and here on how she created these....SO GOOD!

This "toe tag" is one of her invitations, get this freebie download from her blog here.

That should be plenty to get the creative juices flowing....happy haunting!

  1. My goodness there is a lot of inspiration here. Thank you so much for sharing. I enjoy seeing all these decorations as I really don't decorate at all. Mr. C is quite the humbug for all holidays.

  10. I just found your blog and sent you the ridiculous comment about glittering everything. Ironically the two pieces i glittered yesterday:…Janet's subway Halloween piece and Rhonna's Let them Eat Candy… small world., great minds….. I made the banner from Janet as well. From the digital files only and it is on my blog.. I love how it turned out. Used all her pieces, lots of glitter, and Tim's stuff.
