I collect too many things to mention ... but I do adore Mother of Pearl buttons
What’s your strangest talent?
For spotting a wind fallen bird's nest. I like to keep a few, as I find their sculptural qualities extremely inspiring and beautiful.
If you got a free plane ticket to anywhere, where would you go?
How did you get started?
I have always sewn, painted, made things. The last five years, I have been self employed and have been able to focus on my work and being thrilled to have an Etsy shop, sending my work worldwide.

Prim art, folk art, naive stitching
How do you get inspired or stay inspired?
I stare at Pinterest a great deal. I look through my stash, or thumb through sketchbooks too. Reacquainting myself with objects and fabrics, haberdashery things I have collected, can inspire an idea.
