Minted, one of my favorite paper companies has come out with a great gift idea. 
Personalized journals.
143 choices of journals to be exact.
I think they have every occasion covered from baby to wedding, personal to school.   The journals are 5 1/2 x 8 1/2" and have 40 pages.

Super easy to personalize (I tested it) by adding your own pictures to the cover and inside cover. 

Change the text, pick lined paper or blank, even the color of the cover.  Really the hardest part is choosing what cover to pick.  I personally can think of about 20 people to give one to.
Here's the kicker...only $16 each.  Who can beat that for a personalized gift?
