Hope you weekend was a good one. We had beautiful weather on the coast that created a great backdrop for the
Remnants of the Past show this weekend in San Luis Obispo. I snapped a few pictures as I was walking around (
okay, sometimes running), please enjoy.

I just want to mention that there were 3 of us shopping so all those bags are not mine. I did get the Encyclopedia Americana wood box (
which I am in love with) for $32 which was a great price. Someone else wanted it but I swear I saw it first! I won't name any names.
I also got this great photo to go with my "groups of people" collection. This one is the Ohio State Hotel Association (
Dayton, Ohio Dec 7-8 1915). My one rule for this collection is that you have to be able to see the people clearly. This photograph fits the bill, many of the women are wearing extravagant furs and the men are very dapper with their hats and overcoats.
But this was my favorite find of the day (
already on my kitchen wall). This fabulous "good eats" sign. I have been looking for the perfect painted sign for this wall for probably 5 years. It was as if the stars aligned for me to have it...the right size, color, and price. SOLD.
The board is old and very chippy with grey and yellow which is prefect to match my kitchen. Thank you to vendor "Auntie Joy" for always having such fun stuff at reasonable prices. I buy something at this booth every single time.
