Hello friends!
This week has been spent packing the last kit for teaching at The Crafty Scrapper in Waxahachie, TX. It always amazes me how long it takes to pack all my Ranger supplies for each class. So many Distress Paints and Stains...plus five colors of Alcohol Ink and and all those cute little Mini Distress Ink Pads for everyone to use in class! It's going to be fun.
I will be the first teacher to get to use the classroom at the new location. The old store will soon be moved a few blocks to the new Crafty Scrapper location at 108 S Rodgers st, directly across the street from the beautiful historic courthouse. I'm looking forward to seeing the new location as well as my TX friends and meeting some new ones!
Today I have a tutorial for the Tim Holtz Media team over on Tim's blog. I hope you will pop over to see what I made. Yep, it's Halloween inspired, but it's also very me (meaning cheesecloth is involved).
now carry on,
paula
I saw your post here, popped over there and popped back here to say "WOW!" You've given me a great project to try over a weekend away in the Swiss mountains. Thanks for sharing your awesome Vintage Halloween-ness with us. :)
ReplyDeletethanks so much igirlzoe! I wish I was crafting with you in the Swiss mountains!
DeleteSPOOKTACULAR, Paula!! All of your step-x-steps are fantastic! Every detail you've included make this collage so fun to look at. Love the glittery spider (that may be the only time I'll say I love a spider!) and the burnished metal pieces--all just AWESOME! Thank you for your steps, Paula! XOXO-Shari T.
ReplyDeletethanks Shari! Appreciate all your comments. It was a really fun project to make (and I like that glittery spider too!)
DeleteWow! Paula just got back from having a good long look at this project and I think it is Fangtastic! The new spray stains have made the colouring of the boxes so much quicker and easier than painting them, and the insides are just packed with brilliant ideas. Love it all, thanks so much for a great tutorial. Mo x
ReplyDeleteLove it Paula! So fantastic to see a Halloween project that is not screaming orange and purple. Great color scheme. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteLoved the project you did, anything with cream, blacks, browns and gold gets my attention. Throw in some vintage looking photos and I'm hooked. Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletePS. Paula, I'm having a hard time finding the laboratorie paper pad. Didn't seem it was for sale very long or places ran out of them quick. Seen on some other Facebook pages other people trying to find it also. Would you put in the word, we need more PAPER! lol
ReplyDeletePeggy, the paper is in VERY limited supply at Simon Says Stamp http://www.simonsaysstamp.com/product.aspx?id=195030
DeleteI love how you used the more neutral / vintage tones, they work so well and I even love the glittery spider. Thanks so much for the step by step too. Anne x
ReplyDeletePaula this is so awesomely spooktackular!!! Love all the details. In an unrelated question - will you have some over the top Christmas kit again this year???
ReplyDeleteWOW! This may be one of my favorite projects of yours EVER!!!! Every detail is amazing. This is the type of Halloween decoration I would love in my house.
