This week has been fabulous...reading all the comments you have left (but I admit I need to leave the house soon). And to be quite honest I want to thank everyone for being such good sports in answering all our Christmas questions.
I hope you have taken a few minutes to read the comments. Not something I usually do when I'm reading other blogs, but there have been some very touching as well as funny stories. These are three of my favorites from this week:

From Dria:
MY favorite decoration =now that is hard to choose. I love my Nativity
because it represents the true reason of Christmas. But my favorite
decoration has to be my little pair of baby angels my dad bought me
during my 4th Christmas season-- I still remember seeing them in the
store. It was snowing and I was Christmas shopping with my daddy while
my 2 older sisters were shopping with my mommy. The ladies had gone to a
big girls store daddy and I went to the toys and decorations areas. We
were looking at the tree with all of the glittering ornaments when I
spotted a baby girl and baby boy angle--she has long white hair and he
has short white hair- Every time I pull them from their tissue wrapping I
am transported back through time to that evening(over 46 years ago now)
a little girl hanging on to her daddy's finger and asking "PLEASE?"
Although that daddy passed away 12 years ago now his indulgent smile
lives on.
From Cynthia:
My sister and I used to have a tradition when we were younger: Two days before Christmas we would open one gift each, then wrap it back up so our parents wouldn't know what we had done. On Christmas Day, we would shake the box and 'magically' guess what was inside! This was so funny to us until our parents clued in and that tradition was nipped in the bud!! =D
And from Crabtree-Creations: Every year since 1960, we have bundled up on Christmas Eve and set out to find Santa Claus. I have wonderful memories of piling into my Dad's Buick, kids all crammed in the back seat, my Dad and Uncle up front, one driving and one navigating, our little cold noses pressed up against the car windows, trying to get a glimpse of the Sleigh, or Rudolph or the Big Elf himself.
Every year without fail, we would return to Grandma's house to find that HE HAD JUST BEEN THERE!! Oh so frustrating!
One year I decided to stay at the house, so not to miss him, but was somehow convinced that it was better to go out and look for him, so off we went, and when we came back, HE HAD JUST BEEN THERE! I repeated this tradition with my children, and now I am a new Grandmother, so will continue to take the grandchildren out on that yearly trek going out to find Santa Claus, returning home to find a home full of love, goodies on the table, and presents under the tree, because HE HAD JUST BEEN THERE!
See what I mean? Great stories!

Oh, Christmas Tree...
Well, we've made it our last Giveaway! When I started this week I intended to make a few small projects...today's project is anything but small! I used the 7gypsies ATC & Photo Display as my structure. If you have never seen this product, it has a heavy base and a tall rod that screws into it. Each of rings gets successively smaller and they can be put on the tall rod in any order or you can use as many or as few of the rings as you want. The thing I love about this product is that you can make something for Christmas and then change it out for your summer vacation photos.
Well, we've made it our last Giveaway! When I started this week I intended to make a few small projects...today's project is anything but small! Each of rings gets successively smaller and they can be put on the tall rod in any order or you can use as many or as few of the rings as you want. The thing I love about this product is that you can make something for Christmas and then change it out for your summer vacation photos.
Pick a paper to cover the top of the base. I am choosing the vintage paper Leslie sent me because I am so inspired by the red numbers! Place the paper on the base and punch the hole. Then turn the paper over and sand off the excess so the paper will not cause problems with the rod screwing into the base.
Add nice coat of Multi Medium to the top of the base, then the paper. Use a brayer to smooth out any bubbles.
Flip the base over and cut off the excess paper with a cutting knife. Sand the edges and ink...Vintage Photo (right, Sue?). Don't leave home without it!
So you could put paper on the edges or leave as is but I am going to use a vintage measuring tape.
Here's the finished product.
Now were ready to put the ATC and Photo Display together. Then start adding the embellishments (or junk as we like to call it).
Three tips to Remember:
- Embellish the back of things because you will see it, even if it's just paper.
- Limit tying or wiring things to the structure. Why? When you take it apart you will have to deal with that and it's no fun. I created one of these with vacation photos and hand wired everything to the structure...not fun when summer was over and I had to take it apart. Learned my lesson!
- Hanging thing from the clips makes them at least 1/2" longer. More times then not I haven't taken this into account and had to move items from the top row to the middle because it was too long.
So let me walk you through the project.
Most of the items are self explanatory so I will give you the product information and a few notes.
7gypsies Tag set - Affirmations
7gypsies Mini Hanger - brass
Idea-ology Vial labels (obviously my favorite product of the season)
Vintage pearls as ornaments in the tiny tree. A vintage thimble serves as a tree stand.
Needed a way to hang the tree. Not sure why I figured this out today after hand wiring almost 170 trees for the Junk Drawer Advent kit. Why didn't this come to me sooner? Grab one of Tim's Memo Pins and shove it down into the branches of the tree. Glittering the tree gave it just that extra something to hold the pin in place. So simple.
Wendy Addison tag (I added the words)
Who doesn't need a bottle of snow?
7gypsies Apothecary bottle
label - vintage
I had to add a few pictures...these are from my friend Rachel at Darkroom Door. Our long term readers know these photo booth shots are a go to favorite of mine. These are from the sheet of couples.
More vintage items
7gypsies key
Vintage red velvet coat buttons. These have been in my stash for years and they never seem to work till now. I just stitched them with some thick wool thread so the stitching would show up. Added the vintage red label at the bottom and the number from a page found in an old book.
I made the window from 7gypsies collage paper that has been treated with Ice Resin. You can see how I did it here (amendment: you can skip step three of the instructions...I have now made at least 50 sheets of ice resin paper and you don't need to wait for the bubbles to rise to the top when making paper. Just stir for 2 minutes and go.)
The red metal flower is an old earring hanging from a Swivel Clasp.
7gypsies collage paper - Birdsong
You can see how I cut the Collage Tissue for the frame.
This card was made using one of my favorite stamp- Vintage Polka Dots from Red Lead. It is a must have! The chipboard letters are 7gypsies - Paddington...they have been painted silver and glittered. The card is doubled, stamped on both sides and then sewn together. Add the bell at the bottom to finish it off.
This little tree in the wooden spool has red beads from an old necklace.
Vintage card with some glittered pine cones.
Chipboard swallow with vintage paper.
7gypsies Tag Kit - Family
My favorite part of creating is cutting words from old books. It always surprises me how the words come together to make the project unique and have more meaning.
Another card from the 7gypsies Tag kit - Family
7gypsies Tag - Lille
There definitely needs to be a Naughty and Nice List, right?
7gypsies Numero Clear Stamp
Okay so you have already seen this calendar in the gift wrapping post but I stole it off my sisters present because I decided I needed it here more). I added the silver metal star (American Tag)
And the tree topper...a glittered star (can you believe my luck to run across the word tinsel?)
The ATC & Photo Display comes with a metal ball that screws on to the top. I replaced the metal ball with a vintage clothes pin to hold the star in place.
Loving this project so much that I can almost guarantee
we will be selling it as a kit next fall.
we will be selling it as a kit next fall.

Oh how beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteWell...I know what I am getting...a new P&S and Sewing machine but if I could pick a SURPRISE gift...I would pic a new Cameo! LOL
What a great idea and a terrific decor piece. Would LOVE to win this kit. I asked my son for a pandora charm - that would make me happy.
ReplyDeleteJust amazingly wonderful! I would really love to have one for my own, thanks for the chance! I haven't asked for anything specific this year - I'm all about surprises.
ReplyDeleteLove the tree and all the vintage pieces used to make it. Absolutely charming. I would love to win. My Christmas gift surprise would be a Santa for my collection.
ReplyDeleteWhat do I want for Xmas? To win this kit. Seriously, that would make me over the moon happy.
ReplyDeleteWe are having a very minimalist Xmas this year. We are not getting a tree and are only exchanging very small gifts. This morning, we found out we have to drop $900 on emergency car repairs. The timing couldn't be worse. It is what it is and we'll just do the best we can. At least the mechanic will have a happy holiday!
I'd love to make this cool art tree so that in the future, no matter what, we'd have a tree.
(I'm not complaining-I am grateful for all the things we DO have. I feel like Xmas is so much about excess anyway. This is an opportunity to focus on the things that really matter, which when it boils down to it is my family & friends.)
OH MY!!! Sign me up for this kit next year! Seriously, my buffet is decorated with all kits/inspiration from you and Deb and I get sooo many wonderful comments on it. LOVE. For Christmas this year I asked for a Gel UV light System Nail kit, it drives me crazy when I do my nails only to have them chipped a few days later, I have read the reviews and people say they last for weeks!!
ReplyDeleteOh (BIG Sigh!)THIS is what I want! Your wonderful ATC holder xmas tree! But if I can't have that I hope I will get um, angel wings, fairie dust, peacock feathers and a pound of glitter all tied up in sparkly ribbon!
ReplyDeleteThis is the most beautiful project!! I have been sitting here reading and absorbing every little detail on each project and just loving them all! You are truly amazing! And then I about passed out to read that you are giving a kit away! Ahhhh! Too die for! LOVE THIS!!! Thanks for the change and I wish you both the most wonderful holiday!! hugs!
ReplyDeleteYAY, now I know what I am going to do with my stand and some of my gadgets.......... Thank you for your creations and now I can start thinking of my tree next year....... Little things to collect, since I love going to antique stores...... I have been on a search for the old tabs on the old cash register...... Thank you for giving something to look forward to."...... Happy holidays..... Therese
ReplyDeleteOK, you saved the BEST for last. Dang but that is cool. (And distressed with Vintage Photo to boot!)
ReplyDeleteYou GypsyGirls have a wonderful Christmas and enjoy your time off. Hoping Santa deposits you in St Pete at Whim So Doodle sometime in 2012!
That is such a neat advent calendar! I live advent calendars and can't have too many. What I'd really likerhia year is a Vagabon machine.
ReplyDeleteI NEED this kit to go with the advent calendar and Christmas village that I have! Thanks again for all the wonderful inspiration this week.
ReplyDeleteoh. my. that may just be the best tree i've ever seen! i so toally NEED this kit! on my wish list this year: dedicated photo printer (probable), instax camera (doubtful), silhouette cameo (so not happening), and now, this kit (keeping fingers crossed!)
ReplyDeleteAnother gorgeous creation. What I want for Christmas is for my hubby to take me junking in central Fla. again, before he starts school again. Let's see what happens.

What a clever and unique idea for the ATC/photo display! I love the star on top secured with the clothes pin! How do ya'll come up with these ideas??? On my Christmas wish list this year... a large format printer/scanner.
ReplyDeleteOh WOW! Earlier this year, I saw this display kit in a clearance bin. I bought it thinking that something would come to mind and put it in the back of a cabinet. Thanks to your blog, it will again see the light of day!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing these terrific projects and all your wonderful creativity! Happy Holidays!
WOW you guys have out done yourself again.
ReplyDeleteI have asked my husband for a new la Cruset pot. Really want one but when he sees the price I think it may freak him out.
denise c.
I absolutely LOVE what you have done with this stand!!! those darling little spool trees are ever so charming-but then, so are all the other decorations! What do I want for Christmas? I can honestly say that although I always want art supplies, stamps, etc. what I want is to be way more ahead of the game with my handmade cards and gifts for next year so I'm not so pressed for time and can enjoy a bit more.Thank you for the 7 days give aways, and for the chance to win your generous pkgs!
ReplyDeleteFor Christmas, I'd love a Starbucks card or an iTunes card. But what I'd really like for Christmas is world peace. Really.
ReplyDeleteWow Paula! This might be my favorite project of the whole week - I would absolutely die if I won it :) But don't let that stop you from picking my name, I won't hold you responsible lol! Thanks for all the fabulous inspiration! Ever since Tim sent me over here, I have been just enamored with your blog! Have a wonderful holiday season with your family and a blessed Christmas!
ReplyDeleteOh my, is that ever a beautiful and stunning decor piece you created! Thank you for a chance to win the kit for it--it would be a labor of love to complete it. A Christmas gift surprise? A Silhouette would be a total shock!
ReplyDeleteOh my, scrapbook anything! Dies, paper, and more paper would make me very happy. I'm pretty easy to shop for.
ReplyDeleteTwo days ago a friend of ours was beaten to death. I know it isn't possible, but the only thing I'm wishing for this year is for his 2 small children and his wife to get their father and husband back... :,( Nothing else matters right now.
ReplyDeleteTake care of each other as long as there's still a chance!
All my love
/M
What do I want for Christmas - to be organized so I can be more creative...not a present anyone else can give me.
ReplyDeleteYour kits make it so much easier for me to be creative - THANK YOU! Please don't stop with them...they are my lifesavers this time of year.
Merry Christmas!
I LOVE this kit. What a wonderful giveaway prize. Someone will be elated to win this. What I want for Christmas is something I already have. My wonderful, supportive husband and two hard headed cute as a button beagle dogs. lol Aside from that, I would love an AccuCut. My husband keeps asking me about it so I think the odds are good. :-) Merry Christmas everyone. :-)
ReplyDeleteBesides the wonderful kit that you are giving away, I would like an iPad2 under the Christmas tree this year.
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays! Kay
What a wonderful project, I have some cute things saved up! What I want for Christmas is a SPA Day...that would be a true surprise. Have a wonderful Holiday with your family. I will be watching my grandsons so I will be having a great week! Thanks for all your ideas...hope I win!!
ReplyDeletedi@ cottage-wishes!!
This kit is beautiful!! I would like it for Christmas ;-) I honestly don't know what I want for Christmas. I guess if I could go for the sky, it would be never ending gift cards to my local scrapbook store, Michael's and Hobby Lobby :-)
ReplyDeleteThen I'd have to ask for the time too, because I've got so many ideas from all of the wonderful crafts I've seen from others!! Merry Christmas!!
This is just amazing love all the details
ReplyDeleteLove the pieces oh how wonderful to use this for seasons.

Thanks for the step by step instructions. I also think that a kit like this will be a great seller for you next year. Hope I win this one! For Christmas, I would like a new computer desk/station - I've been looking for 2 years for the perfect one. Maybe Santa can find it for me?
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I've found your blog - you come up with the most amazing ideas. Love your christmas tree!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I would love to win this kit. Thanks for coming up with good ideas.
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is WOW...this is so amazing....Thanks so much for the chance to win! As far as what I want for Christmas....I know I can't have it. It would be to have my Mom back....just a chance to hug her...kiss her check & know that she is in a happier place. I wish you & yours the very merriest of Christmas....hug your loved ones.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm.....I would truly like a gift of wisdom this year. I am in the lesson phase of learning the difference between supporting and helping (or enabling :) and I get confused. Sometimes I get annoyed and sometimes I am joyful. So I truly would like to know how to give generously with wisdom. I am thinking though that this may be a life-long lesson.....and that the only real action for me to take is just to learn to love better. Maybe in learning to love better myself the gift then becomes one I get over and over! :)
ReplyDeleteAs much as I've been trying to resist buying another expensive crafting tool, I'm really wishing for the new Silhouette! Merry Christmas to all and love your blog ideas!
ReplyDeleteThis is GORGEOUS!!! Thanks so much for sharing it! I REALLY want a Big Shot, so I can emboss and die cut! Or at least some sort of dry embossing tool!
ReplyDeleteWOW! You've knocked it outta the park with this glorious little tree! It's like a little charm bracelet, it's so cool. I would be overjoyed to win this!
ReplyDeleteAs far as Christmas goes, I have a wonderful family, in good health. I'm blessed that way; but others are not. My heart hurts for others who suffer, who've lost so much- I'd love Hope, Healing, Kindness in a sad world.
PS--Put us all on a Wish List for 'oh Christmas (Tag) Tree' kits for next year!! We've ALL been good!!
Oh my goodnes how very wonderful, I so love all you have hung on the "tree"- there are so many gorgeous ornaments.
ReplyDeleteThankyou for all this showing the how to, and with what...
Merry christmas.
Dorthe
Holy cow! Every single inch of this project totally blows me away. You girls amaze and inspire me so very much!
ReplyDeletePaul & Deb you know to sign me up for a kit. This year I am hoping for the Core Kit of Project Life so that I can use it for next year. I also wish for a happy, healthy and skinnier New Year.
ReplyDeleteTotally stunning! So pretty and fun! What do I want for Christmas? Besides winning this amazing kit? My want is pretty simple this year...I would love some really comfy pajamas, fuzzy socks and a night away with my DH to just get away from home and all the every day
ReplyDelete"stuff".
Happy Holidays to you and thank you for sharing this inspiration with us this week. Lots of work went into this and it's really appreciated! May 2012 be a good year to you both!
Paula, You know I love this gift and will want to order it. Your details are always so amazing.
ReplyDeleteFor Christmas I would love to get a Nikon DigitalSLR camera. But I didn't ask for it, it is only a wish to share with you!
If I could pick one thing for Christmas, it would be a Genesis paper cutter. Sweet!
ReplyDeleteWell, the gypsy queens saved the best for last!
ReplyDeleteSo Deb and Paula do have a week or two off to celebrate and have much merriment.
I can honestly say that I already have everything money can but...so there is nothing on my "I want, I need, can I have, list".
If I were to have a 'wishes come true' option it would be that everyone gets the gift they are dreaming of.
Wishing all a wonderful holiday and health and happiness in 2012.
I couldn't stop looking at all the ornaments! Love, love, love all the details on each one. I love the tree idea and that it is something that you can use all year.
ReplyDeleteWhat do I want for Christmas? A watch! Then I would be less likely to be sucked into my phone every time I check the time. :)
Merry Christmas!
I would be in heaven if I were lucky enough to win this giveaway! I absolutely LOVE it. For Christmas I didn't want much. I asked for some gift cards to my LSS, a pair of silver hoop earrings.....I don't need much and just happy that both of girls are home with me. It was more fun this year to buy them some surprises--they have no idea...but owls seem to be the center of several gifts this year! thank you for this wonderful giveaway--my fingers and toes are crossed! ksh
ReplyDeleteIncredibly well done!! The details are amazing. I don't need anything, but wouldn't turn away a BigShot or Silhouette (they are "wants," not "needs"). I'll settle for being with family & friends -- and an after-holiday visit from my sweet 4-year old niece. She's the greatest joy there is.
ReplyDeleteI want anything 7 Gypsy and
ReplyDeleteTim Holtz, you guys are on the top of my list. I would LOVE to win the kit, it is awesome. Have a great time with the family and a Merry Christmas!
I got my Christmas wish early this year and that was for my son to be healthy going into this holiday season. And I am happy to report his doctors say he is doing well. So I got everything I need.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous project.... TFS!!! What do I want for Christmas.....hmmm, I usually don't ask for anything and I am so blessed this year that my dh has a job, I would love to have both my kids and there kids to be together with us this Christmas....
ReplyDeleteLOVE that!!!! What do I want for Christmas? Reusable grocery bags...I'm so tired of drowning in the plastic ones.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to get a tablet of some kind - I am obsessed with them!
ReplyDeleteCheryl
Love all the vintage-y goodness on your tree!! The ice resin collage tissue paper is really gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteFor Christmas all I want is for the economy to improve! ;-)
Thanks for 7 Days of Giveaways!! It's been fun checking in every day to see what you have been up to! Craft on!! =D
Love this 'architectural" tree.
ReplyDeleteI would love to overcome my addiction to sugar and carbs. If I can reduce my consumption by half - I would be happy!
Don't know how you guys keep coming up with all these great ideas..this one is so cleaver, I love it! On my xmas list is a cordless dremmel tool - something to take my projects up a notch...BAM!
ReplyDeleteThis little tree is soooo cute! Definitely on my must-do list. For Christmas I would like to be able to take time each day to create-even if it's only a few minutes. Hmmm...that sounds more like a resolution than a wish, doesn't
ReplyDeleteIt? Merry Christmas everyone!
This takes my breathe away! I love it! And while I do not have the rack to make one- I will improvise and string things somewhere- I love it ! (Of course if you pick me as the winner then I would have the kit!). What a wonderful giveaway! What do I want for Christmas (besides this of course!)- well I really want some sort of electronic cutting machine - I don't know which one and I really would be happy with any but since Santa doesn't listen (much less ask) around here- I think it's for naught. But I can try can't I? Maybe he is listening now....
ReplyDeleteHmmm paper crafting stuff is always welcome, but high on my list is an iPad. We'll see if Santa thinks I was good enough! Most of all that my family enjoys the holidays!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you could share it, along with everything else you've created.
You have a great blog and I'd love to share your link our page!
You can check us out at http://ohhowcrafty.blogspot.com/
We enjoying crafting, as well!
Happy Holidays!
WOW! I love, love, love this!!! What great inspiration this creative tree is! So what do I really want for Christmas? THIS KIT - can I buy one now and not wait until next year??? Other than this kit what I really want is the Joy of the Season - spending time with family and friends, the wonder of what is in each package, the cookies (all without calories), holiday music, decorations.
ReplyDeleteI know that took a lot of time to put together your ATC Christmas tree! One year I hand made some ornaments using chip board objects and covering them with holiday paper and using ribbon and snow flakes, buttons, ect. Very time consuming but the end result is so very special. So hats off to you for your creation! For Christmas I would love crafty things to make and the time to make them!! Hey I love the Ho Ho and Ding Dongs idea! Thank you and the other blogger for such a cute idea!
ReplyDeleteThis project is gorgeous!!! I would love to make one. For Christmas I am wishing for a craft desk. I have been using an old ikea computer desk but have outgrown it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful display! I would love love love to win this kit! The question about what I want for Christmas is a tough one, because I have so much fun buying things for others and coming up with funny tags (one of our family traditions) and also because if I need something, I tend to just buy it for myself instead of waiting. But we had a big baking day today, which reminded me that I would really like a good new set of glass mixing bowls (from Crate and Barrel, to be exact!). Thanks so much for doing these giveaways and for all of the great ideas!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! I am still squealing with delight over this project... GOTTA have it. Sunday dinner plans have been shelved for the moment- I have to go start digging in my stash to see what I've got to play with. Thank you for this darling tree along with all the great posts during the past week. It's been so much fun to read everyone's stories- some made me laugh, some made me cry, but all made me happy that it's Christmastime once again.
ReplyDeleteI would love someone to provide maid service for one thorough cleaning. I've had various health issues the past months & a lot has gotten away from me housekeeping-wise. Would love to start the new year with a clean "slate".
ReplyDeleteLOVE this project - soooooo creative! I would LOVE to win a kit to make one.
ReplyDeletehmmmm for Christmas - I'm hoping Santa will bring a Kindle!
What a beautiful holiday project! Thank you for all of the inspiration this week (and all year long). Wishing you and Deb the happiest of holiday seasons!
ReplyDeletePaula, what a beautiful project. I love the vintage feel. I can't believe how similar our aesthetic is- except you have this odd affliction of NOT being obsessed with glitter but I will forgive you because your work is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhat do I what for Christmas? Besides all that blah blah blah about world peace I would take my daughter's health back and lots of scrapbooking supplies that I can use to NOT scrapbook with.
That's an awesome display. So much work and so many layers - thanks for sharing! What do I want for Christmas? Scrapbooking goodies of course!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! Merry Christmas!!
ReplyDeleteThis is truly beautiful! Thanks for the tips on attaching the trees and hooking things on! This will be an underconstruction for next year.
What do I want? Friends and family members to make commitments to follow Christ as their Savior.
DRia's story made me cry and this project is stunning i adore it and couldnt blieve the kit was the prize. I will be looking out for it next yea if i dont win. As to the question. i would love a trip to bali for for me, my husband, and my 2 boys but would be extremely happy with a magnifying mirror with lights ( it would mean my husband was listening lol). Merry christmas ti both of you. I love your blog.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful project!! For Christmas, I would like more than just a couple of minutes cuddling my newest grandson, just born on Tuesday. His five older sisters seem to have a monopoly on cuddling their brother!
ReplyDeletelove, love, love this project.. i would love this kit..
ReplyDeletebut currently on my wish list - which is hung with my stocking - are the following: 1. michael buble christmas cd. 2. green velvet christmas tree skirt and 3. 7 gypsies lille clear stamp set..

When I saw this project, I knew I wanted at least two or three of these! One for my sister, one for my bestie and one for me! What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteOh my... what a cool project. I can see it covered with springtime stuff, then fall, then Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI want the economy to pick up so I can quit working so damn hard. Or a winning lotto ticket.
I had not even thought about what I want for Christmas...
ReplyDeletea healthy 2012. I have so much I am thankful for... so
blessed. Thank you so much for sharing and creating such
wonderful things. Merry, merry Christmas...
Love, love, love this project!! Thanks for all your inspiration!!! What do I want for Christmas? If Santa is listening, I want a Vagabond and some cool new dies.
ReplyDeleteWould love to win this kit!
What I want for Christmas is a blanket of hope that could be spread across the United States - and even every other country - to give everyone something to look forward to, whether it's a job, more time with family, better health, or whatever a person wishes for. It would be wonderful for everyone to feel anticipation, excitement, or a sense of renewal. Next on my list is a chance to take a class from the 2 Gysies! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteOh how I have loved each and every day of your 7 Days!! Each and every day got better and better --and then you posted today's project! I am so in love with this project! It is absolutely spectacular!!! Thanks so much for making this Christmas time so absolutely delightful! As for what I'd like for Christmas --I will always want something, but to be honest I'm quite satisfied with what I have and feel so blessed. I have 3 sons who all live out of state and can't come home for Christmas, so if I could wish big --it would be that they would be with us this Christmas Eve. Wishing you and your families the best Christmas ever! Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteLOVE, LOVE, LOVE this project!!! Thanks so much for sharing all your wonderful project ideas!!

ReplyDeleteI am so loving this tree! Count me in for the kit! Thanks for sharing your 7 days of giveaways with all of us. It's been fun. Have a wonderful holiday. Look forward to your return.
ReplyDeleteHome made vouchers for time practically on my own - in other words I'll keep breastfeeding the baby- but other than that all alone to do what I want; scrap, read, nothing.
ReplyDeleteOOPS! I was so awestruck by today's project that I completely forgot to check the question of the day "What do I want for Christmas?" I want to be able to see the top of my dinner table again and move all my crafting into its own dedicated space. Since Santa's sleigh isn't quite that big, I would be happy to have some new 'toys' for creating.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely amazing - what a great job you have done on this.
ReplyDeleteWhat do I want for Christmas? Perhaps some time to visit my grandchildren who do not live in this country

With two young children I have very limited time to craft. Idon't work very much and I only get some of that paycheck to support my 'habits'. This project featured today would be an awesome gift under my tree. But truthfully - with my first grandchild joining us 12/1 and me getting to spend these past 10 days visiting with her, I have everything I really need to be happy.
ReplyDeleteWell of course I want this fantastically incredible awesome little Christmas tree for my very own. And to think just yesterday I told my sweet hubbie I didn't really want anything for Christmas this year. Having all my family together was more than enough. Wow just love the project!!! Before I read far enough to see that someone could win the kit, I was ready to go out and buy everything! It's just so creative and fun. My boys asked me what I would like for the holidays (xmas and Chanukah) and my first response was a Grand Calibur by Spellbinders. Hope they grant my wish!

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful!!! Please put my name on the list for a kit next fall - or better yet, a class? Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteThere are two things I'm hoping for this year - first, and most important, is that our little family is all together. We are meeting in Phoenix Christmas day. Second, I am selfishly hoping for a gift card to Found in Mesa. My favourite place to shop while there!
Paula and Deb, I wish you the merriest of Christmas's with family and friends and God's success for 2012. You have befriended and inspired so many people with your graciousness and love for all things gypsy. Thank you for all you do and share!

Just the other day, I said to myself, "Gee, I'd give anything to have my old Bob back!" My DH has Alzheimer's disease, and we are both struggling. Very sad, so if I could be granted one wish, it would be to have my DH well again.
ReplyDeleteHoliday Wishes to everyone. Linda S. in NE

ReplyDeleteWhat I want for Christmas is a happy family gathering and the G-kids having a magical day. A laptop would be a nice addition, but I will be ok if it doesn't show up. Wishing everyone health and prosperity for Christmas and the New Year.

ReplyDeleteOMG! I adore that tree! And I would more than adore the kit to make it! What I really want for Christmas is for my daughter to decide to stay here in Alaska along with my grandson. It's so hard not knowing whether she's leaving or not and how much time we have with him. My heart will break if she leaves. It's my biggest wish and prayer!

What do I want for Christmas? My daughter is coming home from overseas for Christmas and my family will be together. This was my wish for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to thank all the bloggers at One Lucky Day and wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas. I really enjoyed reading your traditions and hope you don't mind if I borrow a few of them. Congrats to the winners, too!
You ladies are amazing. Your projects are absolutely outstanding. How you come up with these wonderful ideas at such a busy time of year is beyond me!
I have especially enjoyed this project. It has so many new and creative tags, etc. It looks like a lot of fun and what a beautiful display it would make.
Happy 'ho-ho' to all.
My secret Christmas present wish is for a little flip-cam...some kind of video recorder that will enable me to post a quick tutorial on my blog now & then, or record the sweet sound of my 4 year-old grandson singing Jingle Bells, but I'll gladly settle for that AMAZING ATC Christmas tree kit! Ha, ha, ha...I may have to steal that Ho-Ho, Ding-Dong idea...my neighbors are a lot of fun...they would love it. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteWhat I really, really, really want for Christmas is to see my daughter who is in the Army. I get to pick her up from the airport Tuesday morning and I can't wait! This seraration has been so much harder than I ever thought possible.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Kathryn

ReplyDeleteFor Christmas I would love all 7 of my children to call us .. That would be an awesome day!
ReplyDeleteI'd like all the days leading up to Xmas to be happy too. And maybe some new glitter. :O) This creation is breath taking! *fingers crossed*
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading the comments you spotlighted. Neat decos on the ATC tree! :) What I want for Christmas this year is for all of my dear Mother's holiday plans, which she has worked so hard to put together, to fall into place, happen and bring her and my Father great joy. There have been a lot of hard times for our family the last seven years and my parents are getting upwards in age. I would like them to find much joy in the remaining family events of the season. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you liked my Santa story, it happened every year until we were too old to go looking!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, what I would like for Christmas is to see my Grandma, age 102 (day after Christmas) Last week she ended up getting a lung infection and found herself in the hospital. Now this is no ordinary woman, She played the organ at the local Theatre before there were talkies, She married in the roaring 20's, had 3 kids in the Great Depression, and had to sell her piano to feed her family. She and Grandpa went into business selling used records for 25 cents, and grew the business into a Stereo and Television chain. It was to her home we went after searching for Santa, and he had always JUST BEEN THERE!
She has always accomplished her goals, in fact, at age 90 she taught her friends cards, and line dancing and at 100 was cheering at football games for her beloved Huskers! The thought of spending Christmas anywhere but with her is unimaginable! So on Christmas Eve this year, we are going over the Missouri River and through the woods to Grandmother's house. The car knows the way.
I love your tree;-) And a giveaway are soo much fun, but i might be to late....
ReplyDeleteOh how I would love to have my whole family together just like the old days. A big giant celebration of Jesus birth. On the materialistic side I would love to have some apps for my iPad and a pen and new case for it.
ReplyDeleteYour creativity is amazing. I love love love this kit.
Best use of a Clip-it-up EVER!
ReplyDeleteAll I want for Christmas is a " health help waiver" for Alex.
What an incredible tree!
ReplyDeleteI have lots of books on my list this year and boxes have been coming from Amazon so hopefully some are those books! :)
What I want for Christmas is not for me for I am blessed to have pretty good health and wonderful friends and family...I would love for the troops that are coming home from Iraq to be at peace with their families...I would love a day of the news with annoucements that more people will have jobs, less people loosing their homes and a true peace on earth.
ReplyDeleteHoly Moly this is incredible! I am wishing fot the Silhouette but dout if it will happen.
ReplyDeleteJust send me this kit for Christmas, if not I can always use more time. Time with my family first. Time for Scrapbooking second.
ReplyDeleteOh holy night! What a gorgeous project! That's what I want for Christmas! Before I saw that I was really just hoping to have a happy, healthy Christmas! There is no one item that I REALLY desire or need for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your reader comments! I LOVE the one of searching for Santa on Christmas eve! I've never heard of that....sounds like so much fun!
Oh, so pretty! Love the neat idea of decoreating that ATc holder according to the season. The little hangers and clips are perfect! Such neat tags! The tree looks great hanging! You are so creative coming up with things like this. All I want for Christmas is: MY MOM! Wish she could just get on the airplane and fly over the ocean to visit! It's been a year since we saw her and we miss her so much. This year, that would be the best present!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the beautiful tree, there are so many wonderful pretties on it, a feast for the eyes for sure! For Christmas I want a chest deep freezer :)

ReplyDeleteThis is amazing! Oh how I want to make this! What I want for Christmas is THIS KIT!
ReplyDeleteThis is so terrific! Loving all the little details. I would love to make one of these with old family Christmas photos. This kit would be the perfect gift! All I want this year for Christmas is time: time to enjoy my family. time to create and paint. I wonder if there's an app for that?

Well now that I have seen your photos of this latest project, it would be to win the kit!! If that doesn't happen, then I'd love to have the gift of creativity. I'm one of those that needs steps 1, 2, 3 and I sure wish I could come up with something original on my own. Not sure how one wraps that up to put it under the Christmas tree, but spending time reading your blog does create a small spark of creativeness. Enjoy the week off with your families - but please come back!!!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful. I would love a longarm quilting machine for christmas, but I am just as happy to have all my teenage college kids healthy and happy at home.
ReplyDeleteIsn't this just the coolest tree?? I love it! I would like silver bracelets and a sonic cleaner for my Pandora bracelets! Santa has been very good to me so just maybe.....
ReplyDeleteThis is a true work of art! It would fit perfectly in my little space that I call home! I love it!
ReplyDeleteI don't want anything for Christmas....just want to enjoy spending the time with my family.
Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Hope you and your families have a wonderful holiday season!!
ReplyDeleteWow, this is stunning!!
ReplyDeleteWOW! that just blows me away - amazing, and yup - i'd come for a class again! lol
ReplyDeleteI "want" for not much these days - it's a land of plenty - i have all i need - friends, family, laughter and love and a job to work at. food is good and is consumed, a roof over and bed to lay my head. heat and power, toys to play with and things to create - "want" is not here and "need" is covered. all in all, life is good, even though i've lost some relatives this year. it just makes it more important to squeeze the ones that are here.
This is an amazing project, and I do hope to see it as a kit next fall. It is possible I shall not be able to wait that long because it just looks like so much fun.
ReplyDeleteI truly had one lucky day when Tim sent me your way. I love your blog and look forward to it in 2012. Have a truly blessed Christmas with your families.
